Forticlient loses remote access

Has anyone had a problem with forticlient disconnecting from ems and losing the Remote Access (VPN) option? The disconecting from EMS option is disabled in the EMS, but somehow two clients did it in our organization and the VPN option disappeared. Does anyone know is it possible to keep the VPN option whatever happens with the EMS connection?
