FortiClient looses passwords

Hi, I am using FortiClient SSLVPN Version 4.0.2292. Since a few weeks (maybe since a fresh installation of my system) the FortiClient looses the password of a vpn session when the session has been closed. So I can create a new session that includes username and password, but I have to re-enter the password when I connect to it a 2nd time. That' s annoying? What happend there and how can fix it?

Hi TC_Hessen I had the same issue. It turns out this is configured through a parameter on the firewall: config vpn ssl web portal edit full-access (or whatever your access portal is named) config widget edit <number> set save-password enable end Then in the SSL VPN client edit your entry, enter the password and save.

Anyone found a solution for this problem ? Does it make any difference with the suggested fw config change ?

it does make a difference. if this is not set for the portal, the user may not save password...
