FortiClient - IPSec VPN - Wrong Credentials - Check your network settings, prehared key

Hi Team,

 

I am having a problem with IPSec VPN via Forticlient. Sometimes it connects sometimes i battle with it and doesnt work.

This gives me errors like credentials are wrong, or I should check the settings, preshared key and so.

 

Also, when two users connect only one is able to access the LAN devices.

 

I have checked all the configuration and there is nothing wrong.

    Hi Charles,

     

    I know this is late, but can you check your IPsec Tunnels and make sure the IP range offers enough for all the users to connect at once. I came across this issue tonight and got on to support and we checked the IPsec Tunnel and that was only allowing 4 users to be connected. We increased the amount in the IPsec Tunnel and then checked the policy and sure enough in there were the same IP ranges. 

     

    Once we made those changes, my users were able to connect without getting the issue like above. If this doesn't help, I would 100% contact Fortinet support if possible and get a ticket opened.
