Forticlient EMS v 1.2.2.0443 throws error on fresh install on server 2012 R2 - CRC errors

I keep running into issues installing EMS v 1.2.2 on a 2012R2 server. The error is a CRC error. This is a VM so there is no issues with my disk. It fails everytime at the sql installation so I manually installed sql server. This let the installation run a bit further but still errors out. I have deleted the server from disk and re-installed 2012 2x.

error: 0x80070017 - Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

    Hello! We have a similar problem. We can not install EMS v 1.2.2 on the 2012R2 server. This is a virtual machine, an error occurs: 0x80070017 - Data error (cyclic redundancy check). Are there any suggestions?

    Installed 1.2.0 without issues on first try.

    Yes, version 1.2.0 was installed without problems at the first attempt. Now the problem is that the base from version 1.2.2 is not restore in to version 1.2.0. Database Restore Failed. "The file uploaded is not an EMS backup file".
