Forticlient EMS Agent - Unlicensed After Installing via .MSI and .MST

Hello

Im troubleshooting an issue where after forticlient v7.2.7 is installed via an msi file and a mst, the application installs but is in an unlicensed state

The msi/mst file is downloaded directly from the customers site in the EMS Portal

Whats interesting is the VPN Config is bieng pulled down from the profile.

There is enough licenses available so its not that

Does anyone know what else I could check here?

you need to enter either the EMS IP/FQDN or the invite code in the first menu in your pictures

Hi,

The MST File that I downloaded for the installer from the specific customer site should have these details. As you can see its pulled the VPN config which tells me its linked somehow to the customers site.

i dont know about the mst, havent really worked with it but the vpn config could be a previous one if a version of FortiClient was installed previously and a VPN profile configured on the workstation.
