FortiClient EMS 7.4.x - Force update detection

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to force a check for a new version.

The issue is that it takes a few days for my EMS in Europe to detect a new version once it is released in the US side. Is it possible to trigger the check or download it manually via the GUI ?

There is a workaround via the CLI using an SCP transfer but it’s not the simplest method.

I'm also leaning towards updating via GUI, something like FortiAnalyzer. That would be great.

Ultimately, I just installed phppgAdmin on our EMS server so I could go edit the schedule directly in the database, and then restart the services to refresh the info. Didn’t want to wait 7 hours for a modification on a customized installer to happen, and support didn’t want to help other than saying this was designed that way and to just “wait”.

But in case you have an issue with EMS then don’t tell anything about that to TAC support, otherwise ...
