Forticlient disables the remote app in Mac

I'm on an El Capitan 10.11.4 using Forticlient 5.4.0.493. When I turn off Forticlient my remote app (which I use to control a lot of things on my Mac) works. When Forticlient is on, the app won't connect to the Mac. In the previous version I used (5.2.X.X) there were no problems. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you been able to solve it? If so, I'm all ears.
