Forticlient and Eset apparently not getting along

I am using Forticlient to connect to a VPN.

I am getting randomly disconnected.  Sometimes in 10 minutes, other times it stays connected for a few hours.

In the logs, one of the most common errors I am getting is this:

FortiShield blocked application: ekrn.exe from modifying: \\REGISTRY\\MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Classes\\exefile\\shell\\runas\\command"

Right after that error, I get disconnected.

ekrn is apparently my Eset Anitvirus application.

How do tell forticlient to ignore anything from ekrn.exe?
