FortiClient 6.4 policy optimization

Hi,

we are currently evaluating FortiClient as both VPN client and antivirus/malware solution. During our tests we come across a few bumps, mainly performance issues. Particulary filecopy seems to have a higher than normal impact on CPU usage and lower copy speed.

So I'm curious as to what others have done to tune FortiClient. What optimizations do you use? Have you changed any default settings in EMS?

One thing I'm looking at is the setting to scan during read, write or both for example. But maybe there are other handy settings I need to adjust?
