Forticlient 5.4.0 is blocking Minimwatch

Last week I installed the 5.4.0 version of Forticlient. Since then I cannot use Minimwatch (controlprogram for Minimserver / music server on Synology NAS) anymore. Minimwatch does start, but all menu-options are greyed out. Deleting Forticlient solves this problem. But that of course is no solution.

The former version of Forticlient (5.2) also gave problems in combination with Minimwatch. When both programms were active, then I always got a kernel panic on my Macbook Pro (latest OS). Also then was stopping Forticlient the 'solution'.

Anyone recognizes this behaviour and has a solution?
