FortiClient 5.2.4.0650 install reboot loop

This is the second time I have seen this. Windows 7 -64

Description:

FortiClient after installing 5.2.4.0650 upgrade path from previous FortiClient version, continuously prompts user to reboot at Windows startup.

DLOG: FortiClient

"FortiClient recently updated itself.

You must reboot your PC to allow FortiClient to finish the update.

Please reboot by clicking the Reboot button.

If you don't want to reboot now, click the Do Not Reboot button."

SELECT: Reboot OR Do Not Reboot

Uninstalling and reinstalling the client resolves the prompt.

Annoying

Unregistering the device and registering again resolves the problem.

I am having the exact same issue.

Does fortinet have a solution....we have a large deployment and going to each PC is not an acceptable option.

You may also check at msconfig of your end device if it is using normal startup to install all the drivers/other updates.
