Fortiauthenticator Login Page

Hello,

 

I wanted edit to Fortiauthenticator's gues portal but accidentally edited the admin login page. Now, i can't access FAC's admin page with 192.168.1.99/login. How can i get back admin login page without factory reset or is there another alternative for access FAC ?

    Hi,

     

    you can login to CLI, but there is not much to do.

    You can try 'exec restore-admin' (v5) or without exec (v4) but if you messed up replacement messages too badly it will probably not help you.

    So another option left is to factory reset, to gain access to the unit, and then restore config from backup.

    Hope you do config backup prior to any bigger change so you already have a few backups, right ?
