FortiAP 231 slow Download

Hi, everyone

I have a forti AP 231 in use at a customer's site with a FortiSwitch 148F Poe and a Fortigate 80F.
The problem is the customer says the download performance is bad.
Fortigate is in use with 7.0.3 (customer request)
Tests were of course made and there are real performance problems with this AP.
I download about 5-7 mbit. With the same device (Apple Macbook pro M1 Max) via another AP, not Forti. I have 400-600 Mbit.
Where can I still optimize something?

Welcome to Fortinet community and Thank you for your post. Hopefully, you've been keeping safe and doing well!

As this is specific only to the wireless performance (An AP indeed) it could be an actual AP issue or a compatibility issue.

Is this a new deployment ?

What is the firmware on the AP? Were you able to confirm if the AP and the firewall are compatible?

Hi

The AP has the latest firmware 7.0.2. The AP was reinstalled. AP and FW are compatible.

Hi The problem was found. It was the cable in the wall. That dorsselte the performance.
