FortiAP 221B Standalone Configuration

FTNT AP has to be managed by either fortigate or Forticloud.  If you have controller and just want the AP operating without controller, you can set the access mode to remote mode and advertise SSIDs with local auth/local bridge support. The configuration needs to be done on the controller. in another words, even your wireless traffic doesn't go through AC, you need the AC for initial configuration, monitoring, gathering statistics etc
