FortiAnalyzer VM Advices

Hi all,

 

FortiAnalyzer 200D has been removed from the price list (no more low end model !!).

I need some advices for VM deployment.

Does it run correctly under Hyper-V or is it better to use VMWare ?

What's the overall experience with VM release ?

Any tips on the hardware (CPU, RAM Disk) or Hypervisor release ??

The goal is to have the same user experience like the FAZ 200D...

    Hello,

     

    FortiAnalyzer VM will works the same as FortiAnalyzer hardware.

    Also it will works perfectly with either Hyper-V or VMware.

    Performance based on the VM hardware (CPU/Memory/Storage) and FAZVM license.

    The only advice I could give you is please, please, PLEASE use a good storage or you will use most of your time in I/O Wait when creating report.
