FortiAnalyzer unable to build SQL database 5.0.11

I AM HAVING 1000C. WE CAN SEE LOG FGT, BUT UNABLE TO GENERATE THE REPORT.

We checked with support team as per them,we are rebuild the sql database.

Once we started, it is showing 15 minutes and 1% Completion only.

But it is not progressing from there. I tried multiple time restart and reboot also but issue still same.

It is working on firmware V5.0.11

Any body experience similar type of issue.

Pls Suggest

Hi,

If the database rebuild is not working it is hard to say where is the problem - the support should help.

 

If I were you I would backup the logs from the FAZ to FTP server and reset the FAZ. Upload the 5.2.10 image to it. And after that import the logs back to the "new" FAZ.

 

Before that also you can download the trial version of the FAZ and try to upload the logs into this FAZ VM to see whether the logs are corrupted or not.

 

Keep in mind that the database upgrade can take hours or days depending on how many logs you have.

Can you explain how to take backup of logs from FAZ to FTP (i.e., filezilla).

So, i can take the backup of logs.
