FortiAnalyzer AMI installation fails in AWS China

Following this procedure, either in 1-click launch or manual launch, with 5GB + 30GB disks or with 2 x 500GB disks, the installation always fails (cannot SSH the VM, cannot access to the web console) with the following LVM errors that can be displayed on AWS instance screenshot (note that it is only a screenshot feature, AWS does not allow you to enter any command there):

Hello @SAM2,

 

If possible, please delete the Virtual Machine and create a new one.

This was done several times already, as I tried to launch the AMI with different setup (instances types, hard drive size, 1-click launch vs manual launch) but it always fails.
