FortiADC SNMP Traps

I try to configure SNMP traps for FortiADC. I don't find "Alert" under "System" in GUI. I used "config system alert-snmp-trap" but no traps are received on FortiSIEM. Is there an extra configuration required?

SNMP Community is configured and worked in the discovery of FortiSIEM. Also SNMP filter is configured.

I have checked again about FortiADC integration with FortiSIEM and I have found that Syslog is the only supported method as per the below external system configuration guide. So, pulling configuration information using SNMP for FortiADC devices may not be possible currently.

Hi,

I hope snmp is enabled on the FortiADC interface connecting FortiSiem. We should ensure that the versions enabled are same, this guide may be helpful for the initial setup https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiadc/7.0.1/handbook/147250/configuring-snmp-trap-servers#

Best regards,

Jin
