FortiADC HA Network Link

Hi!

For the FortiADC cluster design is it possible to do cross-connect for HA of the uplinks towards FW? If so, what would be the configuration on the virtual server port assignment since you can assign only single port?

I believe you are talking about FortiADC global load balancing. You can refer to the handbook link below:

I'm referring to HA deployment with active-standby cluster
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiadc/7.2.5/handbook/582105/ha-feature-overview#high-availability_2813450803_1122670

If the active adc fails and the standby adc become active, its path should still go on the active uplink device (firewall). so can we do a cross connect like adc 1 & 2 is connected on both firewall which also in a cluster?

Active-passive cluster is an L2 connection and it is only for local network. It will not go through the firewall as L3 connection. If you have another "passive" cluster member across the network located on another place/location, it will be "global load balancing".
