Hi all, Can anyone tell me how to change Country code in Forti AP via cli i am using ver 5.9 i am in INDIA

    Those FortiAP devices are pretty dumb and have just enough internal commands to configure the internal interface and how to locate the wireless controller (e.g. Fortigate router). Under 4.0 MR3, the Fortigate that is acting as the wireless controller you can configure the country code in the " config wireless-controller settings" .

    I wish this were the case. I have an 80c and two AP 220B' s. I have tried v4/v5 firmware on both the firewall and the AP. Since having 5.0.2 on my AP' s i can log directly into the AP and i have one that shows the US country code and the other shows region N. I have E-mails into Fortigate to change this code. Simply setting the country code onthe WiFi profile does not change the country code of the AP. I would love to know how/why this is and any sort of commands to change it. Having terminaled into the AP itself, there is nothing there to change it, even resetting total defaults and reconfiguring the profile that it attaches to will not change the country code.
