Forti Access Point get IP but no SSID nor Wireless Signal will deployed

hi guys,

i have a strange issue! for our school environment i have a central 300d firewall. through vlan 12 all FAP are connect to the firewall.

41 AP works without any problems. two Access Points get the ip address from the FW but don't deploy the wireless signal!

i can ping the AP through the FW CLI but no WLAN singnal out of it... what's wrong?

Hello raffau,

How do you confirm, that there are no wireless Signals coming out of that AP ?

Are there no Beacons at all ?

Please post the output of

1. diagnose wireless-controller wlac -c wtp <FAPSerial>

2. diagnose wireless-controller wlac -c ws

Because, i have no Wifi Signal! When i connect to the Firewall, i can ping the the AP and can log in to it...

i wll try your diagnose order...
