FMG firmware template not working

Recently upgraded my FMG to 7.0.7 and trying to use firmware templates. I was able to successfully get my test firewall upgraded, but when I added a few production ones their status in the Firmware Template column says "unknown". Running an install preview ignores them completely, and the scheduled upgrade didn't run last night.

What does "unknown" mean in this context and how can I resolve it?
