Question

Filter Managed FortiSwitch ports by link status?

Hi All,

I must be missing something really simple here...

In the FortiGate GUI, under Wifi & Switch Controller > FortiSwitch Ports, is there a way to filter by port status? I want to see which ports on all of my managed switches are currently "up".

Any feedback is appreciated.

Hello,

Yes, in the FortiGate GUI under WiFi & Switch Controller > FortiSwitch Ports, you can filter by port status. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to WiFi & Switch Controller > FortiSwitch Ports.
  2. Right-click on the column headers to customize the view.
  3. Select the columns you want to display, including the "Status" column if it's not already visible.
  4. Use the filter option available in the column header to filter ports by their status, such as "Normal," "Untrusted," or any other status indicators available.

This allows you to view and manage ports based on their current status efficiently

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, "Status" in not an option under Column Selection. Maybe this something related to the firmware version I'm running (7.4.8).

I found that I can filter by status by clicking the "+" symbol in the search bar above the column headers. "Status" is available in the search options.

Hopefully this helps if others have the same issue/question.

Thank you!
