File-Blocking in Custom Application

Hi, 

I have created a custom application signature for a web-based application & i am able to see the application traffic in the logs. Now the customer wants to control the uploads of .exe into the web server. 

Has anyone tried this before. Wherein we can control file-types being transferred over custom applications.
