Feature Request IPSec Tunnel support Linux RPM/Deb forticlient

Hi, we're migrating to IPSec Tunnel from SSL-VPN to get in front of SSL-VPN support being removed in the near future. Some of our users use Linux desktop at home and I was wondering if there's anything in the works for full support of IPSec on Linux forticlient in addition to Multifactor Authentication. We have integrated Entra into our Fortinet Tunnel. This is fine with SSL-VPN, but nothing for IPSec.

StrongSwan doesn't work as far as I can tell as it doesn't have the ability to interactively take the auth token for Entra and appending the token to my password doesn't work.

Thanks!

Hello

FortiClient licensed version for Linux support IPsec and MFA. If you get this solution you will also have ZTNA, which is the ideal.

If you are looking for a free solution you can do it by using a RADIUS server. However I believe making all this integration may be time consuming and discouraged for most companies, since it is more complex to implement, no TAC support (free), usually difficult to maintain, and probably less secure (free = less maintained = risk).
