FAZ 6.0.1 problems

We upgraded our FAZVM  to 6.0.1 from 5.6.4 and needed to roll back. Two problems after the upgrade:

  • FAZ ran fine at the beginning but suddenly FortiGates stopped sending logs to FAZ until we re-entered the credentials for each firewall on the Device Manager page on the FAZ admin GUI. This happened twice and was the main reason we rolled back to 5.6.4.
  •  A collection of "Upload log file failed" warning messages showed up from time to time.[/ol]

      May I ask what version your Fortigates are on?

      At the time of issue two have FortiOS 5.6.4. The rest are 5.4.9.

       

      Learned the lesson again that not to take the risk of being early adopter.
