FAP-C24JE managed by FortiGate

Hello,

 

In the quick installation guide for the FAP-C24JE (https://docs.fortinet.com/uploaded/files/3925/FAP-C24JE-QSG.pdf) it is mentioned that "FortiGate support may be available for certain region codes." and also "please ensure that you are running the

Fortinet recommended version of software on both FortiGate and FortiAP units.".   Do you know for which region codes and which firmware version support the deployment of a FAP-C24JE through a FortiGate?   Thanks

    Hi,

     

    Region code restriction is removed to support FAP-C24JE globally. We still need to enable fapc-compatibility under wireless setitngs on FortiGate.

    Configuration:

    "config wireless-controller setting     set fapc-compatibility enable end"

     

    Recommend to use latest Fortigate firmware "v5.6.6 GA Release" or "v6.0.3 GA Release" to utilize the full feature support. All FAP-C24JE firmwares are compatibale with latest FortiGate firmware, recommend upgrading to latest available firmware.
