it seems a refusal from fortiguard servers? run CLI command " get system fortiguard" to ensure the status, viewed from your box.

    the fortiguard status seems ok: get system fortiguard hostname : service.fortiguard.net srv-ovrd : disable port : 53 client-override-status: disable service-account-id : (null) load-balance-servers: 1 analysis-service : enable antispam-status : enable antispam-cache : enable antispam-cache-ttl : 1800 antispam-cache-mpercent: 2 antispam-license : Contract antispam-expiration : Tue Jul 28 02:00:00 2009 antispam-timeout : 7 avquery-status : disable avquery-cache : enable avquery-cache-ttl : 1800 avquery-cache-mpercent: 2 avquery-license : Contract avquery-expiration : Tue Jul 28 02:00:00 2009 avquery-timeout : 7 webfilter-status : enable webfilter-cache : enable webfilter-cache-ttl : 3600 webfilter-license : Contract webfilter-expiration: Tue Jul 28 02:00:00 2009 webfilter-timeout : 15 antispam-score-threshold: 80

    Hy everybody ,

We have had the same problem three days ago and what we have done is the following commands recommended by forti support:

config global config system fortiguard set fortiguard-anycast disable set protocol udp set port 53 set sdns-server-ip "208.91.112.220" set sdns-server-ip "208.91.112.220" end end

This solved the connectivity problem that is related to this error with the Fortiguard servers.
