Factory reset without connection to the firewall

Hello there,

I can't connect to F.W via GUI or CLI(i don't have the cable),

can I reset to factory settings in a physical way?

Hello It depends on the Model. The small business models which have a the reset button you can use this for resetting to factory defaults. https://kb.fortinet.com/kb/viewContent.do?externalId=FD33883

Other way is to use the USB Management Port https://cookbook.fortinet.com/using-the-usb-mgmt-console-port/ If both are not available, you have to organize a console cable. Good luck
