Facing "No disk requirements found" error while installing FortiSIEM collector on KVM

While installing the collector on KVM, I got this error saying "Error: No disk requirements found for platform 'FSIEM UNKNOWN' and role 'collector'. Please check the configuration."

Trying to install the 7.3.3 collector image. And the file type is "qcow".

Hi @Rachit_2509

From your output i can see that you have a 200G disk. I have seen in the past that you need to use the actual values specified in the sizing guide. Could you try again with a 100G disk? If there is a requirement for a bigger disk, you could then expand the disk later. This can be done with the following article.

Hi @Richie_C

We also tried with 100G disk, but same error is getting prompted. We are getting this on runnning configFSM (after selecting the timezone)

Hi @Rachit_2509

When I saw the error, I believe the issue is related to the image file type. According to the official documentation, the required format for the FortiSIEM KVM installer is qcow2, not qcow.

Please check the installation guide here:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortisiem/7.3.3/kvm-installation-guide/131018/fresh-installation

Best Regards
