Facebook videos blocking problem

hi we had Fortigate 100D and after upgrade from 5.2 to 5.6.8

application control didn't block facebook videos

i enabled deep inspection

i installed ssl certificate on browsers chrome and firefox

it blocks only when i blocked facebook subs on application control " application overrides "

when i enabled any sub like " Facebook_post"

videos worked again

and i traced from fortigate CLI and check forward logs it read policy id right

is it application control bug ?

    Hi Mohamed.

     

    Have you followed the upgrade path when going from 5.2 to 5.6.8?  Things tend to break if you don't.  From what I can tell, the upgrade path is 5.2.9-> 5.4.4-> 5.6.2-> 5.6.6-> 5.6.8.

     

    As for the app control - entries added here will follow the top-to-down order.  Try placing the facebook video block near the top of the list with facebook post below it.

    hi Dave I followed upgrad pass correctly and all functions working fine else Facebook video blocking I will try to re order it and try again thanks for your support
