Hello everyone,

I would like to request your support in understanding how to proceed with the following situation. I recently took a Fortinet certification exam through Pearson VUE in the online proctored modality. However, when checking the exam status, it appears as “Voided.”

So far, I have not received any email from Pearson VUE or Fortinet explaining the reason for this cancellation, so I am unsure of the cause or the next steps to take.

Could someone please guide me on how to proceed in cases like this?

A "Voided" status usually means the exam was invalidated, but the exact reason can only be confirmed by Pearson VUE or Fortinet. Since you haven't received any explanation yet, Contact Pearson VUE support first and then Fortinet Certification support if needed. They should be able to tell you why it was voided and whether you're eligible to retake the exam.

At first I contacted Pearson VUE, but they told me that they had already published the result and then sent it to Fortinet. In other words, the voiding was done directly by Fortinet. Now, my concern in these cases is: once the voiding is applied, is the investment simply lost, or do they give the possibility of retaking the exam without having to spend money again? For now, I have already opened a ticket with Fortinet Training, so I am still waiting for a response.
