Question

Enable Security Policy Temporarily for Specific Time

Hi All,

FortiGate with 5.6.6, easiest way to enable an already existing security policy for a set length of time?

My current solution is to have the security policy use a one-time schedule object. I just change the schedule object to a time range ending, say, 30 minutes for the current time. I would just like to streamline this, so I can just specify a 30 minute timer instead. That would help me avoid errors like accidentally setting the end time to being the next day.

Any thoughts on a quicker or less error prone method to do this?

    Hi

if you want to set a limitation for web site access you can use web filter quota.

Thanks, but it's not for website access.  It's to allow a specific application run its updates (no signature and way too many UDP ports used) for a short period of time.
