EMS 1.2.1: Connect to VPN tray selection

Before upgrading to EMS 1.2.1, when one clicked on the forticlient tray icon and selected "Connect to VPN", the VPN window opened in order for the user to enter the appropriate credentials (username/password).

Now, after the upgrade, when the "Connect to VPN" is selected a small window appears saying: "Empty username is not allowed" !!!

Do I miss something or every EMS upgrade creates more bugs than corrects?!
