Technically, a trunk can be any port (or port group) that delivers multiple VLANs, not necessarily an LACP group. The smaller units can do that.

hi,

"trunk" can denote several features e.g. combining ports (via LACP), or VLAN IDs on a single port.

And no, the desktop models below the 100D do not support LACP a.k.a. link aggregation or trunking in that meaning.

This is deliberately left out in the FortiOS images for these models (maybe because the hardware doesn't support it).

ok. so how can i configure any port as "trunk " let say i want that my internal 4 will be trunk. what and how do i need configure it ?
