distribute specefic network to a specefic OSPF area

Hi Team,

We have an issue with the OSPF configuration. Please find below the details:

In my deployment, I have:
1 interface that is connected to the inside
2 interfaces that are connected to the outside: RTR-1 and RTR-2.

I want to have an OSPF configuration on both the RTR-1 and RTR-2.
****RTR-1 will be in area 0.0.0.1.
****RTR-2 will be in area 0.0.0.2.

And I want to distribute:
172.18.201.0/24 only to the area 0.0.0.1 (RTR-1).
172.18.202.0/24 only to the area 0.0.0.2 (RTR-2).

Hi,

 

I understand that you want to filter incoming routes in OSPF. You can achieve this using the Distribute-route-map-in feature.
Note: Distribute-route-map-in feature to filter routes in OSPF, is useful only in case if filter LSA type 5 (External ) routes or matching the TAG value needs to be done.
