Hi All,

I have a fortiwifi 60d installed with a client and he is asking me whether I can disable the local wifi radio outside of office hours, so that all functionalities remain unchanged but only the wifi radio is disabled at night and during weekends.

Can this be arranged ?

Tks,

Kris.

ssid scheduling is only supported in FOS 5.4

Of course, it can be arranged by using ssid scheduling.

config wireless-controller vap

edit vap1

set schedule XXX

end

where XXX is a schedule name, which is created and modified as follows:

config firewall schedule recurring

edit XXX

(here you can set start time, end time and day, so ssid works only during this period)

end

For your requirement, just set schedule for each ssid on the local radio, so all ssids will be down

beyond the scheduled period(local radio is disabled)

Hi xwang_FTNT,

Thank you for your reply, I will certainly try this solution when 5.4 gets out of Beta.  Do you have an ETA ?
