Differentiate the connection between computers and phones

Hello community, does anyone know if there's a way to differentiate devices connected to WiFi so that computers connect to one SSID and devices like phones and tablets connect to another in order to allocate more specific bandwidth?

You can do it with mac authentication or use need to look at FortiNAC device clafficiation for this solution

Using the traffic that traverses the FortiGate, FortiNAC will automatically classify the device, and put the new port in the appropriate VLAN

    Hello

    Additionally to @salemneaz good advice, another possible approach (if PCs are well known or just part of a domain) you may implement certificate authentication on one SSID so that only your PCs can connect to that SSID.
