Dialup VPN default gateway

I set up my Dialup VPN so i can access the routers while i'm away from work. i set the ip range from 10.10.1.240-10.10.1.249.

I get 10.10.1.240 for the ip when i use the vpn and it gives me 10.10.1.241 for my default gateway.(my default gateway should be 10.10.1.250) I am linking screenshots of my setup, now i might be just doing something stupid wrong but i'm not really sure.
