DHCP server and reservation limit - FTG 800C

hi all

hardware info: Fortigate 800C with 5.2.1

I've configured a VDOM with three subnet 192.168.166.xx, 192.168.168.xx and 192.168.197.xx and DHCP server enabled.

I've made reservations and all work fine (I found the new description field very useful), but unespected at two hundredth+1 reservation I've this:

  "error: Maximum number of entries has been reached."

This is my case (see the :(

 -> subnet 192.168.166.xx I've reserved 80 Mac/IPaddress

 -> subnet 192.168.168.xx I've reserved 100 Mac/IPaddress

 -> subnet 192.168.197.xx I'm blocked at 20 Mac/IPaddress reservations

I found an old manual page that mention a limit -> http://docs-legacy.fortinet.com/fos50hlp/50/index.html#page/FortiOS%205.0%20Help/advanced.105.28.html

I'm very disappointed about it for this limitation meaningless.. obviously I would expect 200 reservations for each single subnet.

I hope future realease fix this

I honestly doubt that.  Going through all max values tables for 4.3, 5.0, 5.2, it looks like the 800C is positioned as a mid-ranged Fortigate.  The next step up (1000C) is the high-end, allowing a max 5000 reserved IP addresses.
