Question

DHCP exhaustion

Fortigate 100D; 5.2.3 (7 FortiAP's running 5.2.3)

- Various WIFI clients are connecting/disconnecting and requesting IP's.  It's incrementing through exhausting the IP Pool.  This is happening on a few PC's and in some cases it looks like causing FortiAP's to reboot.

Opened a ticket with TAC.  Has anyone seen this?  Cannot determine if the PC is infected or what as it's remote.  The PC's have AV.  DHCP Monitor is removing due to conflict; Log just states client connecting/disconnecting....

    Existing bug # 265161

    Commands for workaround:

    fortigate # config wireless-controller vap

    fortigate (vap) # edit SSID-vap

    fortigate (SSID-vap) # unset broadcast-suppression

    fortigate (SSID-vap) # next
