Good day,

I would like to verify that  whether the local network configuration, such as static route, traffic with security files,  will stop when deregister the device from Cloud managment, no not.

    Hi @lwsamcn ,

    Adding to this,

The configuration will remain unchanged. However, upon deregistration of the device, all associated contracts will also be terminated, and the administrator’s information will be completely removed. Additionally, once deregistered, the device’s license will no longer be valid. Please be aware that unlicensed FortiGuard services may erroneously identify all traffic as unauthorized due to invalid licensing, potentially blocking network access. To prevent this, ensure that the security profile has been removed from the firewall policy.

    Hi,

When you deregister a device from FortiCloud management, the device will no longer be managed or monitored through the FortiCloud portal. However, the local network configuration, such as static routes and traffic handling, will continue to operate based on the last configuration applied to the device before deregistration. Here are some key points to consider:

    HI @lwsamcn

If you remove the device from the forticloud it will stop logging into the cloud but your configuration on FortiGate will stay intact.

    Thanks, Salon
