Hi Maybe I' m blind or just stupid, but I can' t find the settings, to delete the emails from a user quarantine after he released it. Imo that should be the normal behaviour, but we have to delete the emails manualy after it was released by a userer, else he will got it again with the next spam summary report. Any idea? Thx Wayne Fortimail VM v4 MR3 Patch 1

You can set the time to delete a quarentined e-mail. Our settings are typically 2 weeks however you could reduce this but you risk losing e-mails for users who have been on holiday. Is this due to disk space or just a ' nice to have' feature?

Hi Yes I know I can reduce the time, but we really need this 21 days we set. My intention was just I can' t believe that a " released" email is still keep in the quarantine folder and showing to the users again and again on the summary email and Fortinet desingned that as default Imo it has to be deleted after it' s released. I won' t call this as a " nice to have feature" , it' s just logical that nobody needs a quarantined email anymore AFTER it was released to the users inbox. I guess my users will release the same email then not just once, because they had forgotten they did it already few days before Hmmm, looks like we have to live with that.

In 4.3 release e-mails are hidden. You can still view them by dropping down a box at the top of a users quarantine section, Previously this was greyed out once released. While this doesn' t solve the issue it' s a step in the right direction.
