How the Dataset "Estimated-Browsing-Time" calculator how long a user spends browsing a particular website or category of a website?

Example: if a user visits a site  for 40 seconds, visits another site and never loads another page (does not click through the various articles links) for two hours, the resulting browse time is 40 seconds or two hours and 40 seconds ?
