Does anyone know exactly what happens when your daily quota of GB/day has been reached on FortiManager ? Will it stop logging or will it just through up a warning saying your limit has been reached but continue to log as normal?

It will start warning. Plus you have Option of either "Stop Logging" or "Overwrite Oldest Logs".

By desfault it is "Overwrite oldest Log"

For now, it is just a warning and FMG will keep logging, so in System Settings tab, license info widget, GB/Day details, click and you can see the daily usage details for last 7 days

but if you have many logs coming in, and logging / reporting function may take much system resource and thus impact your FMG config management performance like config copy/install to FGT etc

    Thanks

    Thank you for then clarification.

@Simon, when/if you change the behaviour can you please make sure the GB/day license is stackable for the FortiManager ? Maybe you can offer two sorts of licenses, one for raising devices and one for raising the log quota ?

Right now I have a 110 device license with 5 GB/day, and we have about 30-35 fortigates, and in order to raise my GB/day I would need to buy 1000 device licenses.
