Create Shortcut to connect to VPN (and disconnect) [FortiClient 7.0.0]

To connect to our company's network, FortiClient is installed, and managed by the company. Every morning I have to connect to the VPN, it would be really nice to have a shortcut to connect (and disconnect).

 

I found a post from 2013 (https://community.fortinet.com/t5/Fortinet-Forum/Creating-an-icon-for-SSL-VPN-connection/m-p/160041) but there is no 'FortiSSLVPNclient.exe' on my laptop. 

 

Is there a possibility to create a shortcut?

Dear Dam,

that forum post refers to the SSLVPN thin client, not a full FortiClient.

FortiClient does have an inbuilt shortcut however, via the System Tray:

- you can right-click on the FortiClient symbol in the System Tray
- this offers the pre-configured VPNs (IPSec and SSL) for selection
