Connection to EMS Cloud failed with unknown issue

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my EMS to FortiGate but error below appears.

FortiOS 7.4.7
FortiClient EMS 7.4.3 build1926

Connection failed with unknown issue
EMS Cloud

# execute fctems verify 1
Error in requesting EMS fabric connection: -101
issue in getting capabilities. EMS server connection failed with unknown issue. curlcode: 7
Error (-1@_get_capabilities:461).

Command fail. Return code -9999

# diagnose endpoint fctems test-connectivity 1
Connection test had an error -101: EMS server connection failed with unknown issue. curlcode: 7

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you :)

hi,

on the FGT did you add the EMS Cloud instance by IP or by FQDN ?

the error might be that you added it by FQDN when in EMS > Settings > EMS Settings you have Listen on IP ( Use FQDN is disabled ) - therefore you must add it by IP or the other way around, you added it by IP when in EMS Settings you have Use FQDN, so you must use that.
