Connected but no bytes received or send

On one laptop everything is working fine. But on a service laptop we have the following issue:
Connection is working fine but the bytes send and received stay on 0.
When I check the "Fortinet SSL VPN" adapter under IPv4 config the static IP address remains empty.

On the working computer this gets filled in automatically.

Only debug and info lines in the log, already removed and reinstalled the software couple of times.

Good morning,

The ipconfig /release /renew pointed me in the right direction:

It only listed 2 adapters while I have 7 in total under adapter settings.

I disabled the "connection uses item" called

Bridge Driver (This component provides I2 bridge capability between mbb, wifi and ethernet networks.)
on all my adapters and now it's working ok again.
On the other PC this item wasn't in the list.

Wasn't related to FortiClient at all :p but thanks for the help!

Best regards,

Ben

Hello @SMO_BenDevos,

It is not clear with the provided information that why it is failing. you can try ipconfig/release followed by ipconfig/renew to check if you get an IP address. Have you tried to update the driver of ethernet card ?

What is the version of Forticlient ? May be you can try to installing another version.

regards,

Hi @SMO_BenDevos

What is the OS version of the problematic client? And what is the version of FortiClient it is using?
