Configuration not being autosaved

In running some compliance scripts/reports, I noticed sevearl Fortigates (mostly 60D) are not autosaving the configuration changes. I confirmed autosave was set to automatic.  Anybody ever experience this?

    Could you show a script as example? Are you using "end" after a change was configured?

    Yes, scripts are fairl simple for now,, for instance

    config system fortiguard set port 8888 end

    Forgot ot mention, this is only happening with a handful,, OS's, models are the same to working Fortigates
