Hi,

Can you please help me with the scenario that i have. I want to connect a FortiAP with an already existing Cisco APs with same LAN and Same SSID. Is it possible ?

Yes I would agree. I never seen a WLAN that was a mix of   AP from  2 or more vendors. ALso rogue AP detectors could become a issue imho.

Either stay  all CSCO or all FTNT or use  a new SSID for the forti stuff.

Yes it is possible, but I think it is not recommended.

Why:

- SSID disconnection, duplicated SSID with different device

- channel interference (FortiAP have automatic channel search)

The best way is have only FortiAP and Fortigate as the wifi controller.

Regards.
